Our first month of English and Maths tutoring completed

Well, it’s been a very busy month – already we have a number of students being tutored in both English and Maths. From A level and GCSE Maths and English classes to SATs booster lessons, it has been a huge privilege to see students learning and progressing.

Let me tell you about my teaching experience: I have been teaching English Language and English Literature for 25 years from KS3-KS5 in South Staffordshire, Wolverhampton, Dudley and Sandwell. During this time I have also held numerous roles within the schools I have worked in including: Vice Principal of Teaching and Learning; Head of Pastoral Support and Inclusion; Professional Tutor for NQTs and PGCE students; Director of Sixth Form; Primary Transition Lead; Head of House; Child Protection Officer; Edexcel exam marker and an outstanding teacher of English. Then in 2017 I refocused my love of teaching and learning and fulfilled a more specialised teaching experience wholly based on the individual learning needs of young people here at 'Timely Tuition'.
