Let me tell you about my teaching experience: I have been teaching English Language and English Literature for 20 years from KS3-KS5 in South Staffordshire, Wolverhampton, Dudley and Sandwell. During this time I have also held numerous roles within the schools I have worked in including: Vice Principal of Teaching and Learning; Head of Pastoral Support and Inclusion; Professional Tutor for NQTs and PGCE students; Director of Sixth Form; Primary Transition Lead; Head of House; Child Protection Officer; Edexcel exam marker and an outstanding teacher of English. In 2017 I decided it was time to refocus my love of teaching and learning and fulfil a more specialised teaching experience wholly based on the individual learning needs of young people here at ‘Timely Tuition’.

Timely Tuition Tutors

All our Timely Tuition tutors are fully qualified to teach in their specialist subject areas, have Child Protection level 1 training and are DBR cleared, with years of teaching experience at primary and secondary school level. Our tuition support and teaching offers you the peace of mind you’re looking for to safeguard your child when choosing the best tutor to fulfil their learning potential.

We have a number of practising Primary teachers, and Secondary Maths, English and Chemistry teachers working with our students.

Our Primary School tutor works alongside students predominantly to support their progress in literacy and numeracy in readiness for their SATs and/or 11plus.

As well as Director of Timely Tuition, I am the main English tutor, having spent the last 25 years teaching predominantly at KS3, KS4 and A level with some primary school teaching.
